The Lara difference
Why this is rarely done well.
Bangkok’s traffic punishes shortcuts. Mercedes are easy to rent — every hotel concierge has a brochure. The difference between a hire car and a chauffeured arrival is a driver who has worked the same neighbourhoods for a decade.
Lara works with two licensed Bangkok operators she has used personally for years — the same fleets trusted by the Australian, German, and Japanese embassies for state visits. Vehicles under three years, serviced monthly, drivers briefed each morning.
The executive on a Bangkok stop where being five minutes late costs the room. The dealmaker whose evening hinges on the right car at the right door. The guest who simply prefers the same suited driver, the same rear door, every day — not as ceremony, but as quiet.

Common questions
The quiet answers.
Which vehicles are on the roster?
Mercedes S-Class and Maybach for solo executives and couples; BMW 7-Series as a quieter European alternative; Toyota Alphard and Vellfire for bigger groups. All under three years old. Lara confirms the exact unit before the day.
Hourly, daily, or per route — what works best?
For a Bangkok day with several stops, daily is best value. For a single transfer, per-route is cleaner. Hourly suits evenings — drinks, dinner, late return.
Can the same driver cover multi-day stays?
Yes — and Lara recommends it for any stay over forty-eight hours. The driver learns your hotel’s quirks, your preferred entrance, your evening rhythm.
What does it cost?
A half-day in an S-Class with driver runs around THB 7,500; a full Bangkok day around THB 12,000; an Alphard roughly twenty per cent less. Out-of-town routes quoted separately.
