  • Do you drive the long Bangkok → Phuket leg?

    Twelve hours by road, forty-five minutes by jet. Lara recommends the jet for the long leg with the chauffeur waiting on the Phuket apron — same Maybach, fresh from a wash. Driving it is possible (and Khao Yai en route is genuinely worth a stop) but it costs you a day.

  • Same driver the whole time, or rotated?

    Same driver. He travels with the car, sleeps at hotels Lara has booked alongside yours, and is briefed on your preferences from day one. No handovers, no re-explaining the music, the stops, or the route to the villa gate.

  • What happens on rest days at the villa?

    The car is parked at the villa or the resort, the driver is on standby with twenty-four hours' notice for evenings or short runs, and you are not paying a kilometre rate — just the daily retainer. Most loops use the rest days for short coastal drives or evening dinners.

  • What does it cost?

    From THB 14,500 per day for the Maybach, all-in (driver, fuel, tolls, his accommodation). A typical five-day Bangkok-Hua Hin-Phuket loop runs THB 95,000 to 120,000 depending on whether the long leg is driven or flown. Lara confirms the figure before booking.

  • What drives the From-THB price up or down?

    Vehicle (Maybach vs S-Class long-wheelbase, ~15% spread), distance per day, and whether the long leg is flown. High-season weeks carry a 10-15% surcharge.

  • What's included on 3 vs 5 vs 7-day rates?

  • Can the Maybach cross provincial borders without paperwork?

    The two operators Lara works with hold dual Bangkok and Phuket licences, so the same Maybach runs Bangkok to Phuket without a swap at the provincial line. Other border crossings — Krabi, Surat Thani, Hat Yai — are pre-cleared the day before. No road-side delays, no second car.
