The Lara difference
Why this is rarely done well.
Thailand’s licensing rules make walk-up live-fire a non-starter for foreign visitors. The two ranges that can host a foreign guest privately do not advertise — bookings move through a small circle of introducers, and the ex-SF instructor cadre is even tighter.
Lara holds direct relationships with both private ranges and the senior instructor cadre. She names the specific bay, the instructor by service background, the firearm progression and the ammo count in one quote — and the licences are filed before you arrive.

What does a private tactical day cost?
All-in for the range, instructor, full firearm progression, ammunition, licences and lounge after: USD 4,200–6,800 for one to four guests; USD 9,500–14,000 for groups of six to ten. Insurance and chauffeur transfer included.
Do we need any prior experience?
No. The curriculum starts with thirty minutes of safety drills before a single round is loaded. The instructor only progresses to the AR-15 once the pistol grouping is consistent — Lara only books guests where the instructor signs off on each stage.
Are the firearms real and live-fire?
Yes — every firearm is fully licensed and live-fire, with serial-numbered range issue and certified ammunition. Lara does not arrange airsoft, paintball or rubber-bullet sessions.
Can wives or partners come?
Yes — the lounge is air-conditioned, has glass viewing into the range bays and a separate whisky-and-cigar offering. Many guests find the spectator role more enjoyable than they expected.
