Most charter brokers sell the day boat — sunbathe, swim, lunch, return. The party-at-sea brief needs different things: a captain who will hold an evening anchor, sound that carries on open water, lighting that holds up after dark, and a chef who can serve canapés to forty.

What does a typical evening cost?
An 80-foot motor yacht for an evening party of twenty-four — crew, chef, canapés, DJ, lighting and full bar — runs THB 180,000 to 280,000. A 100-ft superyacht for a press launch with thirty guests starts around THB 400,000. Day charters quoted separately.
How loud can the music get on board?
Loud enough for a real party — the captain agrees the rider before departure and most boats hold a deck-mounted sound system or take a portable DJ rig with subs. After 10pm, sound is dialled back if the boat is at anchor near other vessels. Open-sea cruising — no limit.
Can guests stay on board overnight?
On 70-ft and above, yes — typically four to eight cabins. A two-day overnight charter with morning swim, lunch in a hidden cove and return is the most popular wedding-eve format. Lara handles linen, breakfast, and the second day's anchorage.
What if the weather turns?
The captain is the final word. He proposes a lee-side bay and the party moves there instead. If the evening is cancelled outright, Lara reschedules at no charge or refunds in full — the deposit holds against the next available date.
