Colonial-era luxury hotel in Hua Hin with white columns and red-tiled roof at golden hour.
The Royal Coast

Hua Hin, quietly classical.

A short flight or chauffeured drive from Bangkok — the royal coast, the golf, and the kind of stay that has nothing to prove.

Curated personally · Discreetly arranged

Hua Hin is the most traditional of Thailand's resort towns — the Royal Family has summered here for nearly a century, and the place still carries the manners of that history. The pace is slower than Phuket, the architecture more colonial, the social register more discreet. It is the right choice for guests who would rather stay in a properly run residence than be seen at a marketed one, and who value a coastline that has never traded on noise.

Getting there

Three hours, on your terms.

A chauffeured drive from Bangkok is the simplest answer — three hours in a Vito with cold towels, water and the route taken at a civilised pace. For shorter trips Lara can arrange a private aircraft into Hua Hin's small airfield, which trims the door-to-door to under ninety minutes. Either way, your arrival is met personally; the house is open, staffed, and ready before you walk in.

Stays

Private villas, classical lines.

The properties Lara arranges in Hua Hin tend toward the colonial — high ceilings, teak shutters, deep verandas, walled gardens that slope down to a private stretch of beach. Each is fully staffed, with a butler, housekeeping team and chef on hand. For guests who prefer the certainty of a great hotel, a small list of historic properties — the kind whose guest books still carry royal signatures — is also on the table.

By day

Golf, sea, and stillness.

Hua Hin is genuinely one of Asia's better golf destinations — six championship courses within twenty minutes of the town, with private tee times arranged through Lara to skip the queues entirely. For non-players, the stretches of beach south of the town toward Khao Tao are long, flat and almost empty by mid-morning. A private chef back at the villa, an early dinner, and the day asks nothing more.

"Hua Hin has nothing to prove — and that, for the right guest, is exactly the point."
