Thai Polo Club is genuinely members-only. Walk-up bookings do not exist. Private chukkas are arranged through a small circle of club introducers — and the helicopter slot, the pony string and the lawn lunch all need to land on the same afternoon.

What does a private polo day cost?
All-in with the field, two teams of pros, lawn lunch and helicopter return: USD 18,000–28,000 for watch-only; USD 32,000–48,000 with a play-yourself chukka and 1:1 coaching. Insurance is included.
Do we need to know polo to enjoy this?
No. The watch-only format is built for guests who have never seen a chukka — the club commentator narrates the rules in real time from the lawn-lunch terrace.
Can guests actually play, even with no experience?
Yes — a 1:1 coach starts the briefing on a stationary pony, then a slow-walking chukka. Lara only books play-yourself slots where the coach has signed off in advance.
Bangkok–Pattaya by helicopter or by road?
Helicopter — 25 minutes, lands at the club’s own pad. Road is two to three hours each way through traffic. Helicopter is the default unless headcount exceeds the manifest.
