The Lara difference
Why this is rarely done well.
The drop zone’s public schedule rarely lines up with a Bangkok day. Pulling the named senior master, the helicopter slot at the coastal helipad, and the weather window for the same morning takes a direct line into the operations manager.
Lara holds the line into the drop zone and books the named tandem master directly. She arranges the helicopter (or chauffeur), the hangar lounge, the GoPro edit and the 24-hour weather call. If the wind reading is wrong, she rebooks the next workable window.
One to four guests per morning. First-time jumpers welcome — the master does the work, you arrive. Weight cap 100 kg, age cap 65 unless your medical history clears you.
How it works

Common questions
The quiet answers.
What does the jump cost, all in?
USD 2,200 per guest for the named tandem master, jump, footage edit and ground transfer in Pattaya. Helicopter from Bangkok adds USD 4,500–6,500 depending on aircraft and headcount — most clients take it for the time saving (full day becomes 4 hours door-to-door). Multi-guest pricing on volume.
Is it actually safe?
The drop zone Lara uses runs the only consistently audited tandem programme in Thailand — the master has 6,000+ jumps and is checked annually. Tandem fatality rate worldwide is roughly 1 per 500,000 jumps. Lara walks you through the operator’s safety record on request.
Do you have to do it on a clear day?
The drop zone needs a clean wind reading and decent visibility, which most Pattaya mornings deliver between November and April. Lara checks the call 24 hours before. If the morning’s wrong, she rebooks for the next workable window — no rebook fee, no charge for the helicopter you didn’t take.
Can my partner watch from the ground?
Yes — the hangar lounge has a coastline view of the descent and the canopy landing. If your partner wants to jump too, Lara books two masters for the same lift. If they’d rather stay grounded with a flat white, that works equally well.
